Hankook MSA Northern Ireland Rally Championship

Round 7: Fisher Engineering Lakeland Stages Rally, 11 SeptemberThe event was won by Alastair Fisher, co driven by Gordon Noble, who finished just 1 second ahead of fellow British Rally Championship contender Jonny Greer, both drivers using the event as a testing session for Rally Yorkshire.

Northern Ireland Championship leader Stuart Biggerstaff was making his first appearance on the Fermanagh event and his pace improved during the day. Having been as low as 16th place after stage two, he bounced back to claim a top six finish and take maximum championship points ahead of Marc Johnston in 8th and Mark Donnelly in 10th.

Top 2wd finisher was Adrian Hetherington in 7th overall, with Drew Stewart reinforcing his Hankook MSA NI 2wd Championship lead with 16th place.
