RHL Activities are delighted to announce that the 2010 Weston Beach Race will take place on the weekend of the 15th - 17th October 2010. After the problems that were encountered in the 2009 race, the 2010 event was under scrutiny and in doubt if it would run or not. RHL Activities Director, Gareth Hockey, is thrilled that once again, for the 28th year the event will take place and is guaranteed to be bigger and better than ever.

Gareth Hockey has secured a five year plan for Weston Beach Race, one of the biggest off road events on the race calendar and he is hoping the changes and improvements, which are planned, will continue to see the event grow to an exceptional standard. The race has attracted some of the biggest names in the industry with multi World MX Champion Stefan Everts being a regular contender and in recent years he has battled it out with recently crowned World Enduro (E3) Champion David Knight.

The 2010 Beach Race has once again attracted their regular main sponsors of Red Bull, Doodson Motorsport, Polaris and Rock Oil who have pledged their support for this year's weekend Beach Race Festival.

This year the Festival will run across three days starting on the Friday with the introduction of the new side-by-side (Poloaris Ranger Rzr ATV) race. On Saturday there will be a youth quad race and a 65cc race followed by the traditional adult quad and sidecar races in the afternoon. Sunday will see the youth 85cc race and the normal headline adult solo race in the afternoon. The weekend is set to be action packed with a constant flow of races to watch and take part in throughout the weekend.
