GT Academy 2010 comes to Channel 4 for a six-week series starting on Sunday 19th September at 0820. The series follows the fortunes of gamers from the virtual world of PlayStation®’s Gran Turismo® as they bid to become real-life racing drivers. 1.2 million people from 17 countries entered the competition and were whittled down to 18 who attended the five-day racing driver ‘boot camp’ at the famous Silverstone Circuit. GT Academy tracks the action as the 18 finalists compete for the ultimate prize - an intensive race training programme and a season-long drive in a full race-spec Nissan 370Z in the European GT4 Cup. F1 legends Eddie Jordan and Johnny Herbert lend their experience as GT Academy judges.
