Patron Highcroft Racing will take a detour en route to Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta with the team's championship leading HPD ARX-01c appearing at the first ever "Motorsports on Main" event in Greenville, SC.
Organized by Highcroft tire partner Michelin, the day long festival this Thursday, September 23, in Main St, Greenville will feature a host of cars and drivers from the American Le Mans Series.
Highcroft's Marino Franchitti will be in attendance at the Greenville event that runs from 1pm to 9pm. Not only will fans be able to grab an autograph from Marino, Highcroft Racing will also have an extensive range of merchandise available for purchase.
Activities begin at 11:15 a.m. with a press conference recognizing the American Le Mans Series, Michelin and the Greenville-Spartanburg area for its contributions to technical innovation within the automotive sector.
Patron Highcroft Racing and Michelin have been a winning combination in the American Le Mans Series - taking 10 wins, 25 podiums and nine pole positions since joining forces in 1997.
Highcroft also lead this year's MICHELIN® GREEN X® Challenge, a competition held within each race that scores all racecars on overall performance, fuel efficiency and emissions.
After taking last year's ALMS LMP1 championship, Patron Highcroft Racing need only to finish 70 per cent of next week's Petit Le Mans to claim the 2010 LMP championship.

Fans can vote at americanlemans.com/primary1.php?cat=poll with voting on-going between now and 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 26 - coinciding with the start of race week for the 13th annual Petit Le Mans powered by MAZDA 2.
Highcroft is the only single car team to have both its drivers in the final round of voting.
Can't decide who to vote for - that's easy - you can vote every five hours so make sure you vote for both Brabs and Simon.
DAVID BRABHAM IS ONE VERY BUSY MAN
Patron Highcroft Racing has been busy preparing the team's HPD ARX-01c in the four week break between Mosport and Petit Le Mans, but that doesn't mean David Brabham hasn't been on track.
Brabham headed back to Australia to join former Porsche ALMS racer Alex Davison at Stone Brothers Racing for the first of the V8 Supercar endurance races at Phillip Island.
Despite not having driven a V8 for four years, Brabham, drove strongly in his double stint to hand over the car to Davison while leading the race. In the last pit stop his Irwin Tools-sponsored Ford Falcon lost several positions but was able to finish the race in a respectable 10th place.
After the final race of the American Le Mans Series at Petit Le Mans, Brabham will return to Australia for the Bathurst 1000 event - the legendary endurance race at the fabled Mount Panorama circuit and also compete with Davison at Gold Coast 600 which features the local heroes joined by international stars including Brabham, Sebastien Bourdais, Ryan Briscoe, Helio Castroneves, Scott Dixon, Dario Franchitti, Fabrizio Giovanardi, Patrick Long, Alain Menu, Tiago Monteiro, Gianni Morbidelli, Yvan Muller, Will Power, Andy Priaulx, Scott Pruett, Mika Salo, Alex Tagliani, and Jacques Villeneuve.
But not content with just racing in his homeland, Brabham also did battle against his Le Mans teammate Marco Werner in the Volkswagen Scirocco R Cup in Oschersleben, Germany.
Brabham, Werner and fellow Le Mans legend Frank Biela were the three "legend drivers" guesting in the series.
The trio did battle against the series regulars behind the wheel of the 2.0-litre Volkswagen Scirocco R, which runs on bio-CNG and reduces CO2 emissions by 80 per cent compared with conventional engines.
A pioneer behind the American Le Mans Series' push for a greener future, Brabham was right at home behind wheel of the environmentally friendly Volkswagen - taking an overall podium and earning the award for the top "legend" of the weekend.
MORE HIGHCROFT MEN ON TRACK
Highcroft Racing team boss Duncan Dayton returned to the track at the recent Lime Rock Park Historic Festival.
Dayton was back in victory lane aboard his 1971 Chevron B21 sportscar - taking a victory and two second places in the Group 8 class.
Also armed with his 1967 McLaren MK 4A Formula 2 car, Dayton recorded two fifths and a fourth placing in the Group 10 races - a stellar performance with what was the oldest car in the field. How tough was the opposition? The winner of the three races was armed with a 1986 Ralt RT4 - only a 19-year age difference between the two machines!
But the Highcroft team boss was not the only member of the team to charge to victory lane. Team gearbox ace Glen Taylor (pictured above) was the man to beat in the Group 5 races.
Taylor took four wins from four starts in his 1979 PRS Formula Ford.
It looks like David Brabham, Simon Pagenaud and Marino Franchitti are not the only fast men at Patron Highcroft Racing.
