Rockingham Day 2

Brazilian Felipe Nasr consolidated his fastest time in British Formula 3 testing at Rockingham on Tuesday bymaintaining his strong pace topping Wednesday’s session as well. On the combined classification from both days, title winner Jean-Eric Vergne and Daisuke Nakajima stay second and third.

With Northamptonshire’s Rockingham hosting the final official British F3 test session of 2010 prior to the seasonfinale at Brands Hatch this weekend, Felipe’s eventual best lap time of 1:12.242 places him top of the listings,with Daisuke putting two Räikkönen Robertson cars in the top three, Carlos ran minimal laps fighting the effectsof Flu that restricted his running on both days. 

The team packed up early on Wednesday lunchtime content with the work done to allow enough preparation time forthe final rounds at Brands Hatch this weekend back at their Woking Base.

Felipe commented “The car has run well on both days, we didn’t take a lot of new tyres in the way that others did,the pace was there in all conditions. We ran Brands Hatch gearing in the final Wednesday session just to be ready for the weekend so all was good”
