Auto GPNavarra, Free Practice 2: Grosjean still fastest

Charouz-Gravity Racing on topRomain Grosjean was again the fastest driver of the Auto GP field in Navarra, topping the sheets of the afternoon Free Practice: the DAMS driver got under the 1’29 mark with a 1’28”850. Despite a strong wind blowing against the cars on the main straight, everybody managed to improve their laps, lapping about 1” better. Behind Grosjean, Jan Charouz was again very fast, closing second just 0.05 adrift. Behind him Adrien Tambay confirmed that Charouz-Gravity Racing is going in the right direction this weekend, as he was able to stay ahead of newcomer Giacomo Ricci, 4th with 1’29”272 and already at ease on the RP Motorsport car.Very good performances also for Fabio Onidi, Duncan Tappy and Julian Leal: they are very tightly packed in P5, P6 and P7 with a 0”7 gap from Grosjean; anyway, unlike the drivers ahead of them, they didn’t use new tyres so they are in very good shape for tomorrow’s qualifying. Alexander Sims, the other rookie of the weekend, was improving steadily and at the endo of the session was 8th, ahead of Edoardo Piscopo and Jonny Reid.Navarra, Free Practice 2 results1 Romain Grosjean (DAMS)    1'28"8502 Jan Charouz  (CHAROUZ-GRAVITY RACING) 1’28"9043 Adrien Tambay (CHAROUZ-GRAVITY RACING) 1’29”0044 Giacomo Ricci (RP MOTORSPORT)   1’29”2725 Fabio Onidi  (LAZARUS)    1’29”425    6 Duncan Tappy (DAMS)    1’29”527 7 Julian Leal  (TRIDENT RACING)   1’29”5328 Alexander Sims (CHAROUZ-GRAVITY RACING) 1’29”7009 Luca Filippi  (SUPERNOVA)   1’29”72010 Edoardo Piscopo (DAMS)    1’29”76311 Jonny Reid  (SUPERNOVA)   1’29”96312 Carlos Iaconelli (DURANGO)    1’30”03013 Stefano Bizzarri (RP MOTORSPORT)   1’30”24414 Natacha Gachnang (CHAROUZ-GRAVITY RACING) 1’31”187
