Round 6: Trackrod National Rally - September 25Charlie Payne and co-driver Craig Thorley concluded the MSA Gravel Rally Championship in fine style with a dominant victory on the Trackrod National Rally.

The pair won all six stages in their Ford Focus WRC to win ahead of Stephen Petch and co-driver John Richardson. Newly crowned Champions Jonny Milner and Ian Windress were chasing Payne and Thorley all morning but retired their Toyota Corolla WRC with a damaged rear link arm two stages from the end.

"Today was one great result for us, we had a good clean run with no real dramas,” said Payne. “The weather made it very interesting and we survived a huge moment on the last stage so we were really lucky to make the finish!"
