Facu Regalia will test a Formula 3 again this week with one of the most competitive teams of the series: Prema Junior. The Spanish-Argentinean driver will be at Mugello today for another Formula 3 Italia official test.
The eighteen year old driver has already tested with the Italian team, at Vallelunga, and made a good impression in Prema Junior, who invited him for another test with one of its Dallara F308 FPT Racing cars.
“For me, it’s another opportunity to drive a Formula 3. I’m looking forward to be at its wheel, as in my test at Vallelunga I was very comfortable with the car and with the way the team worked”, said Facu Regalia. This time, “I don’t know circuit – Mugello. I was told that it has a very fast layout and very attractive. But I hope to be as fast as I was at Vallelunga, in my first test with Prema Junior”. Situated near Florence, Mugello has 5,245km and was built in 1973.
In this test, Facu Regalia wants “to end the day in a good position of the timesheets. I want to improve at each run and work in the set-up, putting the car accordingly with my drive style. I will have loads of references as all series teams will be at the track”. Though he is inexperienced in this kind of single-seaters, the Spanish-Argentinean driver has already shown that he capable of signing similar times to Andrea Caldarelli e Edoardo Liberati, the Prema Junior regular drivers in the Formula 3 Italia.
