RACE OF CHAMPIONS – LIVEThe most high-profile motorsport champions from around the world go head-to-head on the 27 November, this year in Düsseldorf and LIVE on Motors TV!
Created in 1988 by Frederik Johnson and former WRC Vice-Champion Michèle Mouton, the Race of Champions has become an eagerly-anticipated end-of-season event. The world’s best drivers and riders, most of whom are world champions in their chosen discipline, meet to fight for the title of the ‘Nations Cup’. This year an impressive roster of stars includes Alain Prost (four-time F1 World Champion), Michael Schumacher (seven-time F1 World Champion), Sebastien Loeb (six-time World Rally Champion), Tom Kristensen (eight-time Le Mans 24 Hours winner) and Sebastien Vettel (F1 Vice-Champion). The battles on track promise to be epic with Prost and Loeb flying the French flag in their search for the top step of the podium.
Follow the event, without interruption, on the ‘High Speed Television’ channel on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 November.
Nations Cup: Saturday 27 November – Live from 6.30pm.Race of Champions: Sunday 28 November – Live from 1pm.WORLD RALLY CHAMPIONSIP – RALLY GB The World Rally Championship season traditionally ends on the roads of Wales. Rally GB, formerly known as the ‘RAC’, first took place in 1932 and has been on the WRC schedule since the championship’s inception in 1973.
Rally GB often takes place in challenging weather conditions with stages held on fast, slippery forest roads to a backdrop of rain and mist.
This final round of the season also marks the end of an era as it’s the last event for the current 2-litre turbocharged generation of ‘World Rally Cars’. Next season, the Citroen C4 and Ford Focus will be replaced by the DS3, Fiesta and Mini Countryman (with 1.6 litre turbo engines). With that in mind, all the drivers will be keen to grab a piece of history with victory - making this an event not-to-be-missed!

INTERCONTINENTAL LE MANS CUP (ILMC) - Delayed-as-live The ILMC, launched in 2010 by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO), unites three of the most prestigious races of the Le Mans Series, American Le Mans Series and Asian Le Mans Series.
After Petit Le Mans, the final round of the ALMS, Motors TV brings endurance racing fans coverage of the next in a long line of battles between Peugeot and Audi, this time at the Zhuhai circuit in China. The entire event of this third and final round of the inaugural Intercontinental Le Mans Cup will be screened Delayed-as-Live.
Round 3 - Zhuhai 1000kms, China: Sunday 7 November from 11am. V8 SUPERCARSThe Australian-based V8 Supercar Championship concludes its 2010 season at the beginning of December in Sydney, but not before two crucial rounds scheduled for November. Double champion and reigning title holder Jamie Whincup has had a more difficult season than many predicted and has found a genuine adversary in the form of James Courtney, meaning a fight to the very end is in store if he is to seal a third title. November’s two rounds look like being decisive in the destination of the crown and promise to be as spectacular as ever.

BEST OF 2010…As November arrives, most of motorsport’s national and international championships have ended, but the ‘High Speed Television’ channel gives its viewers the chance to re-live the last 12 months’ best moments from their favourite disciplines. No less than six ‘best of’ programmes are scheduled for November, so enjoy the most spectacular action again, including Jean-Eric Vergne’s superb season where he became the first French champion of the British F3 International Series.

BEST OF BRITISH MOTORSPORTBRITCAR 24 HOURS - After the shortened 2009 race the Britcar 24 Hours returns to its full twice around the clock distance in 2010, with a grid of over 60 competitors doing battle at the Silverstone circuit. Witt Gamski and Keith Robinson have been the men to beat in the GT class this season, taking five victories in their Ferrari F430 GTC, and will be looking to add the winners’ trophy for the 24 Hours to their collection.
This year’s grid has also been swelled by some big-name additions - Chevy World Touring Car Championship star Rob Huff, former Honda F1 test driver James Rossiter and BTCC racewinner Paul O’Neill to name just three – so there’ll be no shortage of talent on show at Britain’s top enduro event.

VOLKSWAGEN RACING CUP - Celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, the Volkswagen Racing Cup sees a wide variety of race-modified Volkswagen machines going wheel-to-wheel in one of Britain’s most entertaining saloon car championships. Donington represents the final event of the 2010 season, and will see competitors contesting two races over the course of the weekend. Last year’s runner-up Steve Chaplin leads the standings heading to the season finale, and the VW Beetle RSI driver will be looking to ensure he wraps up this year’s title at the Leicestershire circuit.

SUPER ONE UK KARTING CHAMPIONSHIP - Super One is the UK's most competitive karting series, with big grids and thrilling racing guaranteed. Mixing young drivers on the cusp of single-seaters with some of the finest clubman racers in the country, winning here is a sure sign of ability. Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button and Dan Wheldon all graduated from Super One, and chances are there will be a star of the future on-track here. Highlights come from the P.F International round of the MSA series, which sees 60cc Cadet Cormers, KF2, KF3 and 125cc TAG-powered Super KF machines on show.- Monday 8 November at 8.10pm.
GINETTA UK CHAMPIONSHIP - The Ginetta Challenge rolls in to Donington for its final event of the 2010 campaign. The championship will be decided over this double-header race weekend, with current leader George Murrells looking to stave off chief rival Andrew Richardson’s assault on his points lead. However both will have to keep an eye on Sean Huyton. The 20 year-old gave himself a fighting chance of the title with a great weekend at Brands Hatch, and could overhaul the top-two with a similar performance at Donington. What is sure here is close, wheel-to-wheel action from this popular single-make series.

SCOTTISH MINI COOPER CUP - Contesting the majority of their races north of the English border, this series sees competitors push the new style Mini to its limits across an eight-round championship. Edinburgh native Oly Mortimer has been the standout driver this season, and will be looking to add a further win as the series travels to its season-closing round at the Knockhill circuit.
