Sainsburys Try Team to support Performance Master Classes at kart meeting

The Motor Sports Association (MSA) has arranged for the Sainsbury’s Try Team to support its MSA Academy Performance Master Classes at Ellough Park Raceway on Friday 15 October.The Try Team will show Formula Kart Stars competitors how they can eat healthily during race weekends by delivering three 30-minute cooking demonstrations. These will take place alongside the Eating to Win workshop, which explores the principles of diet and nutrition.MSA Performance Director and 2001 WRC champion co-driver Robert Reid said: “The Performance Master Classes are designed to get young drivers thinking about the relationship between what they do off the track and what happens on the track. Diet and nutrition are a key part of that, and I’m sure that the Sainsbury’s Try Team will do a great job of engaging the karters at Ellough Park.”The Sainsbury’s Try Team’s Sian Fox said: "The Sainsbury's Try Team's mission is to inspire the nation to cook and we are delighted to be attending the karting event at Ellough Park. We will be demonstrating simple, great tasting, healthy recipes sure to appeal to youngsters. There will be tasting for all and recipes to take away."Performance Master Classes are delivered free of charge at motor sport events across the UK, and aim to introduce young drivers to the concepts of sports science and human performance.
