WEYMOUTH have been closed down with landlords repossessing the Wessex Stadium and the BSPA annulling the National League club.It means the Wildcats' licence along with riding assets revert to the BSPA,who will now handle future negotiations with parties interested in operating at the venue.Outgoing chairman Phil Bartlett said: "I think it's a fantastic sport and I wish any prospective person who looks to take the club over all the luck inthe world."I can now quite clearly concentrate on my family life and business and actually have a holiday in the summer like most normal working people."

 EDINBURGH chief John Campbell has quashed speculation linking former MonarchJames Grieves with a return to the club in 2011.Grieves completed the season on loan at Redcar having lost his place at Glasgow due to injury, although he enjoyed a successful Testimonial back at Ashfield last month.Campbell said: "I believe James has still got a few more seasons left in himand I do know he is capable of scoring more than he did this season."He has an attractive average which will create interest among a number of clubs. But we are not moving in that direction."

IPSWICH director Chris Louis says he will travel to the BSPA AGM this week with the club's future far from secure.The Witches had hoped to secure additional investment to ensure their place in the Elite League, but the deal fell through at a late stage and Louis is now not ruling out any eventuality.He said: "It's a big blow, I can't pretend it isn't. But we are not the only Elite League club in this position."So we go to the AGM on Thursday to find out our future. It could be either league, Elite or Premier. I don't want to think it could be no league at all, but the bottom line is our future is currently out of our hands."

 BERWICK have confirmed that Newcastle promoter George English will act as their proxy at this week's BSPA AGM, which starts on Thursday.Bandits chief John Anderson is unable to attend in person as he is recuperating from major coronary surgery.Club official Dennis McCleary said: "The BSPA are fully aware of the situation, and Newcastle and Berwick are very much on the same wavelength on the way forward for the Premier League."George will be going through the agenda with us shortly so we will take things from there. We have lodged a formal application for Adrian Rymel's Testimonial meeting to go on the agenda."
