KING'S Lynn have signed Danish international Mads Korneliussen to fill the third heat-leader role in their Elite League line-up.Korneliussen, who was with Swindon in 2010, completes an all-Danish spearhead for the Stars alongside Kenneth Bjerre and Niels-Kristian Iversen, with youngster Lasse Bjerre also of the same nationality.Manager Rob Lyon said: "It's not that I prefer Danish riders over all others, I just simply look at each rider's ability individually and what they can bring to the team."Obviously this year there are a lot of Danish riders who have fitted that bill and I have no reservations in using them as they are all really nice guys who live in the UK and speak perfect English."Personally I think with the signings we have made so far we have got a good team who will thrive on helping each other in the pits and working as a team."

WOLVERHAMPTON have given Danish star Nicolai Klindt permission to talk to other Elite League clubs.Klindt has been informed he will not be part of Wolves' 2011 plans after three years at Monmore Green, but he is keen to continue racing in this country.Promoter Chris Van Straaten said: "It's one of those decisions which is taken with a lot of regret and unfortunately it's a consequence of us having to come below the points limit."We would have liked to have kept Nicolai but we have to go by the rules and we cannot accommodate him at this stage. The fact that he's so keen to ride in England means we have alerted clubs to his availability and we will do everything we can to help him get fixed up."

IPSWICH have confirmed their move for Kevin Doolan will see the Australian join the Witches in a full transfer from King's Lynn.Doolan is also set to take over as club captain at Foxhall as the Suffolk side look forward to a new era of Premier League racing.Director of Speedway Chris Louis said: "We have yet to finalise the payment terms but I would like to assure fans that Kevin will be joining the Witches on a full transfer which is fabulous news. "Kevin was an important part of the jigsaw when it came to putting the new side together not only to lead from the front on the track but also as skipper in the pits. So to have Kevin joining us full time is a boost and is a positive start to re-building the club. "I certainly don't expect him to be the only transfer move that we make ahead of our first season back in the Premier League either as we aim to keep to our promise of re-establishing ourselves."
