Friday 21 January at 10.35pm. ANDROS TROPHY After the opening three rounds of the season in December, the Andros Trophy resumes in January with a further three events scheduled: Isola 2000, Lans en Vercors and Saint Dié des Vosges.
In the Elite championship, Canadian Jacques Villeneuve, the 1997 Formula 1 World Champion, joins his former BAR Honda team-mate Oliver Panis at the wheel of a Skoda Fabia. Meanwhile, Alain Prost, Franck Lagorce, Romain Grosjean and Paul Belmondo, all former Grand Prix drivers, will also line up in the world’s most prestigious ice racing championship.
This year also sees the second edition of the Andros Trophy Electric, the first worldwide motorsport competition dedicated to 100% electric-powered cars. Nicolas Prost, winner of the inaugural season, returns to defend his title and will go up against experienced rivals such as Franck Lagorce, Romain Grosjean, Margot Laffite, Stephane Ortelli and Loic Duval, amongst others.

AMA SUPERCROSS Supercross entertains fans with its spectacular bumps, jumps and whoops and the legends of the discipline read like a who’s who of the sport’s top international stars: Jean-Michel Bayle, Jeff Stanton, Jeremy McGrath, Ricky Carmichael….
The predominance of American names is explained by the importance of the States’ domestic series: the AMA Supercross Championship – a huge success which plays in front of packed stadiums every year!
Each Tuesday evening Motors TV will screen two hours of AMA Supercross programming featuring both the Open and Lites categories. It’s an opportunity to see the discipline’s very best riders, including 2009 and 2010 MX2 World Champion, Marvin Musquin who, despite being injured during the recent Bercy Supercross, is hoping to return to action soon.

Tuesday 18 and 25 January at 6.55pm. ASIAN FESTIVAL OF SPEED The Asian Festival of Speed organises several motorsport championships held at the circuits of Asia and the Middle East. It’s an opportunity to enjoy action from the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, Formula BMW Pacific, GT3 and Touring Car series. The packed, exciting schedule visits tracks such as Sepang (Malaysia), Sakhir (Bahrain), Shanghai and Zhuhai (both China), Okayama (Japan), Sentul (Indonesia), Bira (Thailand) and Guia (Macau). Not-to-be-missed.
Every Saturday at 1.10pm.CANADIAN RALLY CHAMPIONSHIPAs has been the case for the past few winters, Motors TV looks back at the Canadian Rally Championship. Canada has a strong culture in the discipline and hosted a round of the World Rally Championship, the Citerium du Québec, three times between 1977-79.
In 2009, before joining the WRC this season, Ken Block mixed it with title-battlers Antoine L’Estage (Mitsubishi) and Patrick Richard (Subaru), and the pair carried on their fight in 2010. Keep track of all the action on the ‘High Speed Television’ channel.
