SOMERSET are making modifications to their Oak Tree Arena circuit with the aim of restoring the shape back to that of earlier years.Rebels bosses say the poor weather prior to Christmas has caused them to put some other changes on hold, but they expect racing to be further enhanced this year.Promoter Bill Hancock said: "As we have been raking and dragging the dirt back from the outside of the track during meetings, it was having a levelling effect on the bends so that the banking became less pronounced."We have brought in some specialist help to try and restore the track to how it was in past years."
