CHRIS Kerr has quashed rumours that he has retired from the sport despite facing up to a summer spent in his native California.Kerr, who has now fully recovered from his serious broken leg of last season, does not have a team place with a British club but still intends to travel to Germany later this year to represent America in their World Cup qualifier. He said: "I guess my average worked against me in the end. Speedway is all about numbers and after speaking with a few promoters none of them could fit me into their plans."I would like to thank my sponsors for all the support they have given me and all the fans who have supported my career over the past few years and although those fans won't see me on British soil in 2011 they certainly haven't seen the last of Chris Kerr."
