GLASGOW co-promoter Stewart Dickson says the Tigers' impressive home win over Rye House on Sunday confirms them as true Premier League contenders this season.Every Glasgow rider won at least one race as the Ashfield side made it four wins out of four on their own circuit with a 54-36 victory.Dickson said: "I know it is early in the season but I have to say that this team given an even break will threaten at the top end of the table. This was a very impressive performance and I am so pleased that everyone is playing their part. "The team started splendidly and then continued despite a couple of heats where the visitors made it tough for us. After we were able to see off the tactical rides we showed our true mettle and this win gives me a lot of hope for the rest of the season."

RYE House are hopeful that Luke Bowen's vertebrae injury may not be as serious as first feared.Bowen crashed out at Ipswich last week, and is hoping to gain further information from a physiotherapy appointment with Brian Simpson.Rockets boss John Sampford said: "The current indications are that the injury may well be pre-existing one, in which case he is likely to be back in action much sooner than we originally estimated."But I don't want to put a specific timescale on his return at this point."

MILDENHALL co-promoter Michael Lee was pleased with his side's comeback against Belle Vue in another exciting National League clash at West Row.The Fen Tigers were 17-12 down after five races but hit back to win 47-42 with Jack Hargreaves, James Brundle and reserve Lewis Blackbird all giving impressive performances.Lee said: "I'm pleased the boys dug deep after a slow start. It cost us another point, which is a bit disappointing, but a win is a win and I'm sure the big crowd have been entertained again and it's fantastic we are still unbeaten."It would be lovely now to complete a quick-fire double, before our local rivals King's Lynn come to West Row on Sunday."
