2011 BHRC television schedule extended
The schedule for TV coverage of the Dunlop/WONAGO MSA British Historic Rally Championship has been extended, with the addition of two more dedicated hour-long programmes on Motors TV.Following rave reviews from competitors and fans, a mid-season review programme has been added to the schedule. This programme, planned to air in early September, will review the opening four gravel BHRC rallies and will feature previously unseen coverage as well as new on-board footage.This new programme will follow coverage of the Swansea Bay Historic Rally, which is a round of the Water End Gravel Cup. The programme covering the 16 July rally will be screened on Saturday 6 August at 9pm.When added to full coverage of the eight main BHRC events and an end of year review programme, this brings the total TV coverage of the championship to 11 hours of primetime action. In addition, each programme will benefit from multiple repeats in the week following the initial broadcast. Rally TV, the company headed by David Winstanley, is again responsible for the coverage.
