FOUR of Great Britain's rising stars have been confirmed for the Phil Morris Farewell meeting being staged at Birmingham later this year.

Edward Kennett, Ben Barker, Danny King and Lewis Bridger will join the previously announced Lee Richardson in the event at the Perry Barr track on Thursday September 1.

Earlier this week Kennett and Barker were named in Great Britain’s 2011 World Cup team, with King and Bridger also part of the squad that will do battle when the tournament is staged next month.

Morris is naturally delighted to have the Nation’s big names turning out for him as he brings down the curtain on his own proud and successful career.

He said: "I was chatting to the guys as part of my involvement with Team GB and I was very keen to get them involved.“All four have big futures in the sport and I am very pleased they have accepted the invitation to ride in my farewell meeting."

Meanwhile, rider and heat sponsorship packages are now available for the meeting.
