The Gimoto riders had another good weekend at round five of the British Superbike Championship at Knockhill. The weather on Friday and Saturday was horrendous and the rain came down all day for the two days but conditions dried out for some of the races on Sunday. The Gimoto leathers played an important part in keeping the riders dry and warm in the cold and wet conditions but allowed the riders to either race or qualify in the typical Scottish weather.
The Gimoto riders gained seven podiums over the BSB weekend at Knockhill, this included a win by Simon Andrews in the second Superbike Evo race and another win by Ben Wilson in the second British Supersport race.
Jesse Trayler suffered a high speed crash in the first of the British Supersport races and despite the Gimoto leathers being caked in mud he walked away unscathed except a few bruises so the leathers did the job they were required to do.
