Round 3: Donington Park, 18-19 June
Former champion James O'Reilly has moved into third place in the championship standings following a pair of race wins at Donington Park.
O’Reilly began the dry first race from the second row of the grid but had moved into the lead by the end of the opening lap. Towards the end of the race O’Reilly’s engine began to lose power due to water loss, allowing reigning champion Jason Dredge to close, but he was nevertheless able to hold on for a three-second victory.Rain fell almost an hour prior to race two but, with the sun coming out shortly before the off, most of the frontrunners gambled on slick tyres. Non-championship driver Francois Kishtoo made the best of his wet tyres to take the lead on lap three, but soon fell back as the track dried. Moss and O’Reilly then battled for the spoils, with the latter emerging on top.
