Rounds 13 & 14: Doune, 18-19 June
Lee Adams continued his meteoric rise with a pair of run-off wins at his home hill amid varying conditions.
Adams qualified fastest with the Best Time of the Day, and secured victory in the first run-off after rushing to fit wet tyres following a sudden burst of heavy rain. Adams’ bravery then shone through in the second run-off, which he won on a drying surface.
Meanwhile championship Leader Scott Moran finished second behind Adams in both run-offs, allowing him to pull further away from his father, Roger, and the luckless Trevor Willis at the top of the points table.
