Robert La Rocca heads to Mid-Ohio

After a few short weeks off, Venezuelan pilot Robert La Rocca will be back on track this weekend for rounds seven and eight in the Pro F2000 Championship Series. Taking place at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, the F2000 series reaches its midway point and the chase for the championship begins to take shape. 

Competing with the Auto Errante-HP Tech Motorsport squad, La Rocca will once again be behind the wheel of the Ralph Firman Race Car as he looks to stand atop the podium. With increased speed with each passing event, La Rocca is confident of his chances heading into Ohio.

"The team has done a great job to give me a great car and a solid chance at winning week in and week out," expressed La Rocca trackside in Ohio. "The last event was a great example as we were able to qualify well and lead early. I am ready to get going this weekend and look forward to rewarding my crew with a win."

This will be La Rocca's first visit to the 13 turn, 2.25 mile road course and he looks to make it a memorable one. Running in conjunction with the headline Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) event, La Rocca currently sitting fourth in the overall point standings as the speedy Venezuelan will fight hard all weekend long to improve his position and make a run at the title.
