The Supercup is where I want to get to, and always has been.”Michael Meadows (SAS/Redline) from Banbury, Oxfordshire:“I did the 2010 Supercup race as part of the Carrera Cup Scholarship, so this year I’ll be more prepared for it. The desire is to be in the Supercup fulltime in 2012.”Sam Tordoff (Team Parker Racing) from Leeds:“I watched the 2010 Supercup race at Silverstone from the pit wall and it was then I made up my mind to switch to the Carrera Cup. It will be a fantastic experience to race with the biggest guys in Porsche racing, but we’re under no pressure.”Ben Hetherington (Oman Ai/Redline) from Hulme Walfield, Cheshire:“It’s another big challenge coming straight after the World Cup race at the Nurburgring. It will be a very big learning curve, and I’m certainly looking towards the future with the Supercup.”Ahmad Al Harthy (Oman Ai/Redline) from Oman:“It will be amazing for me and I just want to keep on learning. It is another level on from anything we’ve done before and the Supercup is on our agenda for the future.”Keith Webster (Redline Racing) from Liphook, Hampshire:“That race has to be one of the pinnacles of an amateur career. I love Silverstone and what an atmosphere there will be. These are some of the best drivers in the world and it will be a fantastic experience.”After qualifying at 11.25 on Saturday, the Porsche Mobil1 Supercup race will start at 10.45 on Sunday.
