Following the recent announcement of the amicable parting of Glenn Irwin and the MWR Gearlink Kawasaki team, the talented Irish racer has re-entered the Junior Superstock fray still on board a Ninja ZX-6R.
Under the expert eye of experienced racing coordinator, Harry Corbett, 21 year old Irwin is to run on a Gearlink prepared machine for the remainder of the season with Corbett as head of the new independent set up.
A proven race winner and strong competitive force for the future, Irwin and his new, more compact team, will be able to turn to Kawasaki Motors UK and Ninja ZX-6R experts, Gearlink, for advice as race coordinator for KMUK, Ross Burridge explains.
"It was disappointing that Glenn had to temporarily bow out of the 2011 Junior Superstock Championship. Everyone concerned is delighted that he will now re-join on a machine he is familiar with and continue to challenge for race wins for the remainder of what looks to be aclose fought season".
