During this year’s British Grand Prix at Silverstone, Jann Mardenborough, the Nissan PlayStation® GT Academy 2011 champion, was given firsthand insight into the prolific world of Formula One. To support Jann’s quest of making the transition from virtual racing expert to professional racing driver, Red Bull Racing F1 gave the 19-year-old from Cardiff, a behind-the-scenes tour of the team’s race weekend operations.Jann continues his driver development programme this weekend at Donington Park (15-17, July), where he will be competing in a support race to the high profile FIA World Touring Car round.Jann will participate in a series of national races, with the aim of qualifying for an international licence in time for the Dubai 24 Hour race in January 2012.
