Slovenian star Matej Zagar makes the short hop across the border to race in the FIM Nice Italian Speedway Grand Prix at Terenzano on July 30.
The Ljubljana-born man dons the famous No.16 race jacket and makes his first SGP appearance since he raced in the Slovenian round at Krsko on September 12, 2009.
Zagar is a former World Championship regular, and appeared in the competition full-time in 2006 and 2007. His best finish with seventh spot in 2006, which earned him a recall for the following year.
The track reserves at Terenzano will be Italian duo Mattia Carpanese and Guglielmo Franchetti, who wear the No.17 and No.18 race jackets respectively.
The referee for the meeting is Frank Ziegler from Germany.
