after Intense Qualifying Session
Kiwi racer, Chris van der Drift will start off the front row for race one of the second round of the Superleague Formula Championship this weekend at Zolder. The 24 year old made it through each of his knock out rounds to beat Australian driver John Martin, and team mates Robert Doornbos (Japan) and Luxembourg representative Frederic Vervisch but, in tricky conditions and on his penultimate lap, van der Drift locked his rears on an increasingly greasy circuit, handing the pole position to England driver Craig Dolby.

He will start on grid 10 for race one tomorrow."I am happy with how I qualified this afternoon." Salaquarda stated." Of course I would have loved to have made it through to the quarter finals but, I am improving every time I get into the car.
