AutoGP, 60.000 euros for Lancaster at Donington

34 points: that was the amazing tally grabbed by Jon Lancaster in Donington. The Brit boasted two staggering drives in his home race, clinching a dominating win in the wet in Race 1 (also posting the fastest lap of the race) and getting a great 4th place in Race 2 starting from P8. This allowed him to win the Weekend classification, bringing home the 60.000 euros prize money that comes with 1st place. Doing so, he entered in the same "club" of Giovanni Venturini, Sergei Afanasiev and Luca Filippi.

Second place in the weekend standings, and therefore 25.000 euros, went to Fabrizio Crestani: with his two third place finishes he clinched 25 points, enough to beat Filippi and Adam Carroll by just one point.

As a consequence, the championship leader and the Brit newcomer must "content" themselves sharing the 15.000 euros reserved to the 3rd place finisher, so earning 7.500 euros each.

So, with the 4th event just behind our backs, Auto GP already awarded 400.000 euros. With 300.000 euros still up for grabs, here is the earning classification until the Donington round:1. Filippi 92.500 €2. Venturini, Afanasiev and Lancaster 60.000 €3. Crestani 50.000 €4. Tambay 25.000 €5. Buttarelli, Ceccon and Onidi 15.000 €6. Carroll 7.500 €
