Round 9: Anderson on Pole at Road Atlanta (UNOFFICIAL)

Friday afternoon, the racers of the 2011 BFGoodrich/Skip Barber National presented by Mazda braved the heat at Road Atlanta to qualify for Round 9 of 16. Qualifying in 90 degree weather with 61% humidity and a track temperature over 138 degrees, current championship points leader Scott Anderson grabbed his third California Scents Pole of the season with a 1:34.876. MAZDASPEED Motorsports development drivers Trent Hindman and Danilo Estrela will be starting fourth and seventh, respectively. The field goes green for Round 9 Friday afternoon, July 22.
