Barrie Parker secured his seventh MSA British Car Trial Championship title with a pair of victories on the Cymru and HCC Wales Trials.

Parker’s victory in the Cymru Trial was his 13th. Outgoing champion Duncan Stephens won the front-wheel-drive class to finish second overall ahead of fellow Vauxhall Nova driver John Moffatt.

On the HCC Wales Trial, Parker beat rear-wheel-drive class winner Steve Courts to the overall spoils.
