Round 6: Castle Combe, 24 July
Series returnees Phil Dryburgh and John Gaw gave the Scuderia Vittorio Ferrari 458 a win on its debut at Castle Combe.
The invitation-entry Ferrari finished two laps ahead of the top championship runner, the Aquila CR1 of local hero Nigel Mustill and Gareth Evans. The Dodge Viper of Craig Wilkins and Aaron Scott claimed Class 2 honours in third overall.
In Class 3, Owen O’Neill and Jon Harrison continued their stealthy progress in the points table, bagging victory in the Topcats Marcos Mantis. Early leader Javier Morcillo spun his Mosler out of contention while staving off a challenge from Mike Millard’s Rapier, which later retired after clashing with a backmarker.
