Alain Menu and Rob Huff to race at the 200 Km of Buenos Aire

 with the Cruzes of the Chevrolet Official Team

Chevrolet WTCC drivers to continue the tradition of attending TC2000's top event   with the Cruzes of the Chevrolet Official Team

 Chevrolet WTCC drivers Alain Menu and RobHuff will be participating to the 200 Km of Buenos Aires, the stellar event of Argentina’sTC2000 championship, with the Cruzes of the Chevrolet Official Team as invited co-drivers.

This year, the 200 Km of Buenos Aires will take place on 21st August and has been moved to the Autódromo Roberto Mouras in La Plata, in the surroundings of Argentina’s federal capital.

It has now become a tradition that the Chevrolet WTCC drivers lend their support to their Argentine counterparts in this traditional race which attracts the élite of touring car racing and huge crowds of motorsports fans. The 200 Km of Buenos Aires, raced on a double distancewith respect to standard TC2000 events, sees regular contenders of the series sharing the wheel with a second driver, generally top international drivers invited for the occasion.

Alain Menu has been a regular invitee in recent years, winning the race in 2006, while Rob Huff will be competing for the second time.

The Chevrolet Official Team recently started campaigning the Cruze in the TC2000, the most competitive touring car series in South America, with excellent results as it took a win and a second place in the last two events. Agustín Canapino and Christian Ledesma are the drivers of the team and the exact pairings for the 200 Km of Buenos Aires will be communicated in due course.
