Second row for Regalia at Spa-Francorchamps‏ Italian Formula 3

The Argentinean driver  achieved fourth fastest time during the qualifying session in Belgium. Regalia was the fastest among Team Ghinzani´s drivers.

Facu Regalia has completed a good Friday at Spa-Francorchamps, where the Italian Formula 3 championship celebrates its fourth meeting of 2011 season, hitting the halfway point. Regalia, who drives a Team Ghinzani´s Dallara-FPT Racing, was seventh and eighth in the morning during free practice sessions, where he set 2:17.815 and 2:16.912 respectively.

However Regalia made his best in qualifying session, when he set the fourth fastest time (2:15.901) which means a start from second row on the starting grid in race one.

Regalia explained: “Our result today was good enough. We hoped a better result yesterday, but Prema drivers are going really strong here, in the second sector mainly. Anyway I am just one tenth and a half behind Raffaele Marciello who is second on the starting grid for Prema”.

Regalia is really confident for the race, because “we know what changes we have to do for Saturday. My car was OK, and it had just small issues which we will try to solve. Surely it will be a dry race, and there we could have an interesting race pace, despite not being the fastest ones in qualifying”.
