Nicholson McLaren MSA British Hill Climb Championship

Rounds 31 & 32: Doune, 17-18 September

Lee Adams and new champion Scott Moran shared the run-off wins at Doune.

Adams’ victory was his first in the dry, adding to his three wet weather triumphs. Meanwhile Moran took a class win to add the MSA Hill Climb Leaders Championship title to his MSA British crown, becoming only the third driver ever to take both in the same season.

Trevor Willis didn’t score in the first run-off but is still chasing Roger Moran for second place in the championship. He must outscore Moran by at least 14 points at Loton Park to take the place but also needs to be careful of Wallace Menzies, who is only three points behind.
