Ginetta MSA British Junior Kart Championship

Callan O’Keeffe clinched the championship title with a steady fourth place in the first final at Whilton Mill.

O’Keeffe fell from his front row position to fourth at the start, with George Russell punching in a lights-to-flag victory, chased all the way by Racing Steps Foundation driver Ben Barnicoat. “It’s a great feeling to be champion,” said O’Keeffe.

Barnicoat lunged past Russell early in the second final, with the pair then trading the lead until Russell established an unassailable gap at the front. Roy Johnson kept the pressure up in third, with Harrison Scott capitalising on a good start for fourth.
