Hankook MSA Welsh Rally Championship

Round 7: Cambrian Rally, 8 October

Shaun Gardener and Ben Innes emerged victorious from the infamous Great Orme stage, the final test of the Cambrian Rally, while Alex Allingham and Mark Glennerster retained their championship title.

Gardener and Innes took the lead from the hard charging Tom Cave and co-driver Craig Parry on SS4, Alwen, and retained their advantage to the end.

Meanwhile Allingham kept an eye on erstwhile championship leader David Howells, whose title challenge ended when he hit a wall just a couple of miles from the finish. Allingham thus took the spoils by just three points from Cave.
