BIRMINGHAM co-promoter Mick Bratley has announced his departure from the Perry Barr club. The Brummies are set to confirm a takeover next Monday but Bratley will not be involved, having first joined in 2010 under the promotion of Gary Patchett and then staying on when Tony Mole regained control.Bratley said: “I have enjoyed my time immensely with the Brummies, winning the Premier League Fours in 2010 was a special occasion for all associated at the club and making a success of running in the Elite League in 2011 was an even bigger achievement in my opinion.“I obviously wish the new owners good fortune and success and would particularly like to thank the staff, sponsors and supporters for two very special seasons, that I will always remember with fondness.”
