Tutumlu, a Spaniard with Kurdish origins, will race next weekend in Abu Dhabi for the last meeting of Porsche Supercup in 2011. Tutumlu will drive Barzani Racing Team´s car lined up by Attempto Racing.
Isaac Tutumlu explained “I have to say many thanks to Barzani family and Kurdistan too. Without their support there wouldn´t have been possible to race in Abu Dhabi, a meeting which is going to be really special for sure”.
Abu Dhabi is the fourth meeting for Tutumlu during the current season, after Monaco, Spa-Francorchamps and Hungaroring the 26 year old driver approaches this race “as a kind of preseason for 2012. Next year it will be really important because I want to combine the Porsche Supercup with another project in endurance, which would mean racing at Le Mans,. Anyway I´ll try my best, to achieve as good results as possible for me and for Attempto Racing ”.
Abu Dhabi is a challenge because “I don´t know this circuit. I´ve studied this track in on-board videos and it looks amazing, and I think it´s a fantastic track for every driver. I think it will be suitable for my driving-style”, Tutumlu explains.
