CHRIS Holder dominated the British Grand Prix at Cardiff to win at the Millennium Stadium for the second time in three years.Holder scored 23 out of a possible 24 points, and he now trails series leader Greg Hancock by a single point after close rivals Hancock, Nicki Pedersen and Jason Crump all failed to make the Final. The Australian was joined on the rostrum by Krzysztof Kasprzak and Antonio Lindback.Holder said: Its unreal. I was super nervous before the meeting on the parade with all the people. Its difficult to just concentrate on ridingyou really want to do well and youre hoping its going to happen. When it does, its the best feeling ever. When I saw that two of the guys had missed out on the semi and Nicki dropped out, I thought that it would bunk me up if I had a good result. I cant believe it. Im one point off the lead right nowits great.

KYLE Newman scored five points for a thirteenth-place finish in the European Under-21 Final at Opole in Poland on Saturday. The meeting was won by recent Grand Prix Wild Card Bartosz Zmarzlik ahead of Tobiasz Musielak and Mikkel Michelsen.GB Youth co-boss Neil Vatcher said: In front of 2,000 spectators Kyle rode very hard for his five points, and in true Newman style he battled bravely for every point he scored. He was chasing set-ups all day and worked hard to get the bike to have the speed it needed on a very hot afternoon and on a fast, slick Polish track. After a first race duck he scored points in his remaining four rides, and yet again it was great experience for him. He will learn from having the chance to ride against Europes best Junior riders.

WOLVERHAMPTON boss Peter Adams is hoping his reserves can keep up their form when the Monmore club host Belle Vue on Bank Holiday Monday.Adams was impressed with Jacob Thorssell and Pontus Aspgren last week and is looking for similar displays at the clubs Midsummer Madness event which will also include an autograph session, childrens activities and 250cc and veteran races.Adams said: Jacob had no bike trouble on Wednesday (at Poole) and he looked an exceptional talent. I think hell go a long way in the Elite League, and also Pontus he won Heat 2 and also made an excellent pass on Ludvig Lindgren to get his other point. So the reserves did their job, and were pleased with them both. They are now sitting in their rightful positions in the team because they arent Elite League second-strings yet, they are reserves, and I think weve seen that against a quality team they are good reserves.
