MIDENHALLS reserve injury jinx has struck again with recent signing Aaron Baseby now ruled out after suffering a broken ankle.Baseby suffered the injury at Stoke on Saturday in his first meeting back in the Fen Tigers team, but despite fielding no rider at No.7 they still won 52-36 at Buxton on Sunday in the National Trophy.Co-promoter Michael Lee said: First we lost Nathan (Stoneman) with a broken leg when he was flying, then Josh (Bates) was in his most consistent spell of the season and doing brilliantly and now Aaron. I am gutted for him as much as us as he was thrilled to be back with us full time. Bearing in mind Lewis (Blackbird), Joe (Jacobs) and Cam (Heeps) have all been injured as well we have done superbly to have won two trophies and still be in with a shout of three more.
