titles aboard their GSX-R1000s at the weekend's sixth and final round at Poznan in Poland.

Jerman, who also collected the Alpe Adria Superbike title last week at Slovakiaring, secured the the Number one plate on Saturday with third place in the opening race, but the newly-crowned Champion suffered tyre issues in Sunday's race and DNF'd.

Multi-time Champion Meklau finished the series on top by winning both Formula X-Treme races and also the Superstock 1000 events; taking third overall in the latter class for the season.

GRANDys duo Supersport rider and now fully-fit Daniel Bukowski - who missed several races due to injury - won both events after setting pole position and moved up to third place in the final standings, recording the most wins of the season in the process.

The team also picked-up more honours with teenager Szymon Strankowski winning the 'Rookie of the Year' award for his fourth place overall in the Supersport class, plus GRANDys duo topped the Superbike and Superstock team tables.

Said Team Manager Jacek Grandys: "On Saturday Marko rode very sensibly without going into the fight for the race win and third place was enough to win the title. I'm also pleased for Daniel on his return from injury and he showed that he is very strong mentally. Applause also belongs to Andy who showed that when bad luck does not haunt him, as it has done at times this year, he is invincible.

"I'm glad that this - at times - unlucky season has come to the end. Injuries and some minor issues cost us a lot of points and for certain a few more titles, but it didn't change the fact that our riders are some of the best in Europe. We still have the European Championships in Albacete coming up, but we're now beginning to work hard on a new, ambitious project for the future. I congratulate all the winners and thank all the teams for the excellent competition this season."
