Suzuki's GSX-R1000 Superbike recorded an unprecedented weekend of global success at FIM World Championship level and also in domestic series' last weekend that included winning the 2012 World Endurance Championship, two Polish Superbike Championships, plus the Swedish Pro Superbike Championship.

If that wasn't enough, in the British Superbike Championship, Suzuki completely dominated the ninth round of the series at Donington Park with Pole Position, the fastest lap and two race victories along with a win in the Superstock class.

In Spain, the GSX-R1000 raced to its second consecutive victory at the penultimate round of the Spanish Superbike Championship; and on the World Superbike stage at Nurburgring in Germany, the GSX-R1000 secured to its first podium-position of the 2012 season with third place in race two.

At the Le Mans 24-Hour in France, Suzuki Endurance Racing riders Vincent Philippe, Anthony Delhalle and Takuya Tsuda piloted the SERT GSX-R1000 to the team's 12th World Endurance Championship victory under the leadership of Team Manager Dominique Meliand. SERT finished the race in second place on the same lap as the winners and just 1.02 minutes behind after 844 laps of the Bugatti circuit, further proving the renowned reliability of the GSX-R1000.

In Poland, the Suzuki GRANDys duo team sealed the Polish Superbike and Polish Formula X-Treme Championships with Marko Jerman and Andy Meklau at the deciding round at Poznan. In Sweden, Lucas Ockelfelt raced to a thrilling victory that went down to the final race of the day at the Knutstorp final round aboard his Edgezone Suzuki GSX-R1000.In the UK, Tyco Suzuki's Josh Brookes completely dominated both British Superbike Championship races from the front, taking two straight victories after setting Pole Position and being awarded the two fastest laps of the weekend; a first for Australian Brookes and the team. At the same event, American team newcomer PJ Jacobsen put the Tyco Suzuki GSX-R1000 Superstock machine - normally only used at the Isle of Man TT and other international road racing events - on the top step of the podium in only his third ride for the team.

Adrian Bonastre and the Suzuki Speed Racing GSX-R1000 also won the penultimate round of the Spanish Superbikes (CEV) Championship at Albacete; his second consecutive victory in the series and, although he is too many points behind to win the series, aims to put the GSX-R1000 onto the second-step in the Championship at the final round at Valencia on November 18, where he and team-mate Javi del Amor will be trying for a Suzuki one-two.

Team Suzuki's weekend success was also celebrated at round 12 of the eni FIM World Superbike Championship at Nurburgring in Germany, as FIXI Crescent Suzuki's Leon Camier raced to his and the team's first podium of the season aboard the Yoshimura-Suzuki GSX-R1000. The British rider put in a remarkable result in race one from last place on the grid to fifth position, then in race two - from a seventh-placed grid-position - charged through the leading pack to second position at one stage, before settling for a very-close third at the flag.
