Four Formula action at Wimbledon

Spedeworth International bring the Superstox, V8 Stock Cars, Stock Cars and 2.0 Hot Rods to Wimbledon Stadium on Sunday 29th February at 6pm for an action packed evening's racing in memory of the late stock car legend 'Foxy' Dance.

The 1300cc Stock Cars will be putting their heavy front bumpers to use as the drivers batter their way around the Plough Lane circuit in pursuit of the chequered flag. With a large grid of cars promised for the night spectators will see the Wimbledon safety fence tested to the full as cars are spun mercilessly out of the way of the pack.

There will be more full metal contact when the mighty V8 Stock Cars take to the track. These brutal machines, powered by big American V8s, provide plenty of action and the sound of their engines at full throttle is guaranteed to bring a smile to the faces of fans at Plough Lane.  This Sunday's racing will also see the debut of ex Superstox World Champion, Mark Eaton's new V8 Stock Car. Fans will be keen to see whether he can attain the same heights in the V8s as he gained in the Superstox.

The Superstox will also be in action, with their drivers paying tribute to the late Dance with an evening of high-speed, full contact racing.

After all the metal on metal contact from the Stock Car formulas the 2.0 Hot Rods will provide their form of high speed racing with the pilots powering their high speed cars around Plough Lane without putting the bumper into each other and trying desperately to avoid spinning into the car-shredding Wimbledon safety fence.

With four formulas in action, plus free parking, fully enclosed grandstands, licensed bars, and full catering facilities, Spedeworth will deliver a great value for money night out for all the family at Wimbledon Stadium, Britain's finest stock car racing circuit
