British Hill Climb News

The 2004 MSA British Speed Hill Climb Championship will be sponsored by Nicholson McLaren Engines Ltd.

The title of the series will therefore be the “Nicholson McLaren MSA British Hill Climb Championship”.

Nicholson McLaren Engines was founded in 1972, Followed Shortly by F1 World Championship wins. Further motor sport successes followed, the latest of which came in the 2003 British Hill Climb Championship where Adam Fleetwood sped to the title with their 3.3 litre NME LMP2 V8 engine powering his Gould GR55.

In addition to their race engine facilities, their alternative fuel Department is involved in the development of systems to convert petrol driven cars to also run on Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG). NME import the tried and tested Dutch SGi components and develop conversion systems for British vehicles that are then supplied to customers via approved installers throughout the UK.
