BFBS in pole position for F1 broadcast

Overseas members of the British Forces will, thanks to British Forces Broadcasting Services Radio and Television, have access to live coverage of 2004's FIA Formula One World Championship.  British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS), which broadcasts both radio and television to British troops serving abroad, has broadcast rights for the 2004 events. 

Rory Higgins, Head of BFBS Radio Rights, said;

"British Forces personnel overseas are big fans of the Formula One World Championship and, with the help of our colleagues at BBC Radio Five Live and Formula One Management, we are delighted to be able to bring them coverage of these exciting events."

The FIA Formula One World Championship begins on 7th March 2004 in Melbourne before taking in Malaysia, Silverstone, Indianapolis and Monte Carlo among others, finishing up in Brazil on the 24th October.  BFBS will be bringing all the races to its listeners and viewers in 23 countries around the world, as set out in the schedule below:
