SOMERSET will take a 14-point lead to Ipswich on Thursday for the second leg of the League Cup Final after a 53-39 win at home.Guest Ryan Fisher covered well for the injured Jason Doyle with 12+2 for the Rebels, whilst Claus Vissing added 12 whilst Leigh Lanham was top-scorer for the Witches on ten.Somerset boss Steve Bishop said: Tonights margin of victory is the biggest weve enjoyed in our four home encounters with Ipswich this year, so when you look at it that way then we must be pleased with the way things went. Despite being 14 points to the good, however, we will not go to Ipswich for Thursdays second leg with a view to defending that lead, but instead we will travel there with the intention of winning the match, as we have for every away meeting this year.
