DAVID Howe has reflected on a positive comeback from injury when he rode in last weeks Winter Cracker at Somerset. The Scunthorpe skipper scored nine points despite suffering mechanical trouble late-on, and is now continuing preparations for his Testimonial on March 24with Kevin Doolan and Kauko Nieminen the latest additions to the field.Howe said: I enjoyed it until I disintegrated an engine in my fourth ride. Ill just be digging a hole and burying that one.Thats obviously not good in itself and it took the momentum out of the meeting, but I was just happy that I had a good comeback. I didnt think Id do so well.
