"I’m anxious to get back to the track and see many of my friends and colleagues," Brack said. "I have been working out hard in rehab, but I wanted to see how the team and Buddy are working. They won the pole at Homestead and had a fast car in the race. I think they can continue that at Phoenix. It will be good for me to be back at the track."
Brack, who won the 1999 Indianapolis 500, will serve as a consultant to Team Rahal and driver Buddy Rice during this weekend’s Copper World Indy 200.
Former IRL IndyCar Series champion Kenny Brack will be at Phoenix International Raceway this weekend, making his first appearance at a track since sustaining injuries in an accident at the 2003 IndyCar Series season finale at Texas Motor Speedway.
