One place up for grabs in John Cooper Challenge

Due to the late withdrawal of one driver, a single place in the John Cooper Challenge has become available at a late stage. With a maximum field of 30 cars for the season, the Challenge has been sold out since early in the New Year.

However, one of the registered drivers had been forced to withdraw due to pressure of business and so a place has opened up with less than a month to go to the opening event of the season. The vacancy exists in the MINI Clubsport Class and offers televised motorsport at an ideal entry-level for around £15,000.

"We are obviously determined to maintain a maximum field of 30 cars," says Mike Cooper. "So, if anyone is looking to arrange a great season of motorsport, we'd like to hear from them!" Anyone interested in taking the final place should contact Richard de Jong at John Cooper Motorsport on 01903 784784 as quickly as possible.

The John Cooper Challenge features a programme of 10 races and two speed events, starting at Lydden Hill on Saturday 10 April.
