On Sunday March 28th the new season begins for the World Series Light and Matteo Pellegrino from Ravenna, Italy, will be on the Jarama track behind the wheel of the Vergani Team’s Dallara AER with 250 horsepower.

The Series calendar includes 9 double dates -  on every track there will be two races, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, the starting grid will be decided on Saturday after two qualifying sessions, while Thursday and Friday will be dedicated to free practice sessions.

Jarama (March 28 ), Zolder (April 25 ), Magny Cours (May 23 , Valencia (June  20 ), Lausitzring ( August 8 ), Estoril (September 19), Barcellona ( October 3 ), Valencia (October 17)   Zhuhai (October 31).

Matteo Pellegrino:

“We finally get back to racing! This season will be without a doubt very important for me. After last year’s good results in this same category, I’m hoping to improve my performance and hope to take the podium more often.

The other competitors are all very well prepared, including my team mates Milos Pavlovic and Giovanni Tedeschi!  However, this challenge doesn’t scare me, it actually stimulates me to do better".
